Wordapp is an Istanbul / Stockholm based start-up, developing an online word processing tool. In Wordapp, we are a team of creatives, problem-solvers, poly-glots and disruptive innovators led by a Swedish Entrepreneur, a CTO from Silicon Valley and many more!
For our Head Office in Beyoglu / Istanbul, we are looking for Junior Developers to join our Development team.

Your Profile

You want to work in a fast-moving Internet startup and want to disrupt the status quo. You know you have tons of things to learn and you know how to get that knowledge. As well as:

  • You are competent in using one mainstream programming language like C, C++, C#, ruby, php, java, javascript, swift, etc.
  • You have knowledge in common design patterns such as model view controllers, singletons, etc.
  • At least 1-2 years of focused hands-on coding and development experience,
  • Passionate to become an awesome developer
  • Good command of English and will be able to communicate with english-speaking team members
  • You have a Bachelor degree and/or above in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Bonus points for:

  • Knowledge in Ruby on Rails or Angular JS
  • Familiarity with Mongo DB
  • Knowledge in Version Control Systems such as Git
